WOYWW 415 - my first scrapbook layout

Good morning to you all.  I am a bit later than planned due to my new morning routine of staying in bed until the dog asks to go out, plus Tesco delivery this morning.

No crafting - yet.  I fully intend to do some Bible Journaling later and perhaps even start on my next scrapbook layout (another cycling event).  However, I may run out of time - with financial stuff to sort out and my next golf lesson at 6 pm.  I accept now that I never get everything done in one day.  My health - physical and emotional - is more important.

My craft table is showing the completed layout, which now I see needs some more journaling, a pile of photos/event number, my new Bible, and my 'scrap journal' (for using up leftover paint, doodling etc).  Apologies for the blurriness - hands shaking this morning.

I hope to get round and visit some crafters in the next few days.

  1. I don't know that the page does need more journaling. The photo, event number and heading say a great deal on their own. Feel a bit better soon. Sarah #17

  2. Well done on the LO I think it looks very good... looks like you are set up to do some great work. I like the idea of the journal for leftover paint. Nothing better than ready made backgrounds.

  4. Isn't it odd how we generally feel we're copping out of not doing things properly if we have to have time out for whatever reason? Why is it that people generally feel that they have to prove something by being busy all the time? I hold my hand up to that, I feel as if I'm cheating if I'm not always on the go - it's ridiculous! So I think you've made the right decision to scale back on activities.
I would be very happy too make some small bits and pieces for your WI sale in August - you're so right about the same people always doing the work though!

  11. What Sarah said really makes sense to me. BTW, my one hand shakes sometimes too, so no worries on that score. Happy WOYWW!

  12. That's a good idea, waiting for the pooch to dictate your get up time, becUse frankly, you don't need to be up at the same time each day, it's only habit that makes us think it's important. I hope it helps the rest of your day to have an unscheduled start. I like the LO, and doesn't that new Bible look pristine and welcoming...love a well bound new book!
