WOYWW 213

I am up early due to a flare up in my Fibromyalgia and Hip Bursitis.  On the positive side, at least it means I get my WOYWW post done nice and early!

WOYWW stands for 'What is On Your Workdesk Wednesday' and further details/linking list can be found at Julia's Stamping Ground.

My desks are quite tidy this morning and nothing new to see, so I am attaching pictures of the graduation card I made for my stepson, using Serif CraftArtist 2 Professional and my Silhouette Cameo (my first attempt to cut out vinyl - which was actually very simple).

We will be moving over to the farmhouse soon - carpets are going down on Tuesday, which includes my craft room, so I can then start moving boxes over.  See the blog, http://lowertancredston.blogspot.co.uk/, for lots more details and photos.

I am a happy bunny at the moment, as the Tour de France has started and I get to sit and cross stitch whilst watching it (even if it is just the highlights in the evening).   Cycling is another activity which I used to enjoy - we hope to try out an electric bike for me one day, and perhaps that will be a way for me to get out on 2 wheels again?

Happy WOYWW to everyone.

  2. Hope your Fibro and hips ease off. Damp here today, so I feel worse.

    Fab card for your stepson.

Hope the move continues to go smoothly.

It will be great for you to get out on a boike again and an electric one sounds ideal.

  6. That's a great card, I love that silhouette!!! I, too, am a Tour de France fan... watching the race every afternoon (and watching the "Tour-talkshow" about it every night. THey have guests - sporters and journalists - and it's all about the tour. Yes, we have that in Holland!) Can't wait 'till they get to the mountains!

  8. I just typed a comment but cannot see it - now it may be that you end up with two comments by me but that's better then none, isn't it?

What did I say? Well, that I LOVE that silhouette on the card and that I, too, am watching the Tour de France every afternoon (and the special talkshows we have about it in the evening too!) It's my 'ritual' in the Summer, I LOVE following it! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #101

  13. Great card Ali, even with the help of the cameo, you still have to have your design head on. Sorry to hear you're forced up by pain - hope the day sees it reduce immensley.

  16. Well done on the vinyl cutting, the card is very cute. Sorry about the Bursitus, I am suffering from Sciatica and have been for a few weeks, so will be taking the pain killers soon. I am wondering if I can attempt to get on my bike again soon, not at the moment though.
