WOYWW 205 - with candy

I wonder how many people will forget that it is Wednesday today.  I spent most of Monday thinking it was Sunday, and then yesterday was definitely Monday!!  On the farm we do not have a special routine for bank holidays, so I shouldn't be thinking that - but it was still very confusing for my little brain.

Pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground for further details why Wednesdays are so important to me and many other crafters.

On my desk this week there is a fab envelope from Donna, who was my partner in the SwapBot Elephant ATC swap.  Not just a wonderful envie, using gorgeous double-sided paper, but 2 ATCs, 2 ATC blanks, a sweet Eeyore chipboard and a lovely pocket card to hold them all.  How lucky am I?

I started to pack this week.  We will be moving to the Farmhouse in July, and I wanted to get going with filling boxes in plenty of time.  I can only do a bit each day, so this way I will not make myself ill closer to the moving date.  Obviously I started in my craft room and already have one large box filled up with stash that I do not need day-to-day.  I filled another box with stash for charity, and that went to a lovely lady who makes cards for our local hospital.  I have found an area of carpet that hasn't seen daylight for years!

As part of the clearout, I found these -

I have already sold the glitter mediums, so really do not need these to sit in a drawer unused anymore.  Therefore, I am offering them as BLOG CANDY.  Just leave a comment and I will do a random draw next Tuesday.

ps  There is also a roll of stencil tape to accompany them.

Happy WOYWW to all those that I do not manage to visit.

  2. I was just admiring those yummy stencils and thinking I needed them, when I read on to see we have a chance of winning them! Thanks so much for the kind offer! Well done on the clean out and I am sure the lady will have greatly appreciated your box of stuff if it had anything like this in it! I must admit that my craft room would be the last thing I packed as it is my sanity! #30

    1. Still all of the essentials to play with - a lot of my non-papercraft stuff is in boxes anyway, as I do not have bookshelves or cupboards in here - so never unpacked when we came here over 3 years ago. Ali x

    1. It will be wonderful to be in our own home finally. We are renting our current home (which is literally just opposite the farmhouse). Our manager and his family will move in here for a short while whilst the extension on the cottage is finished (musical houses!), and then the landlord will be looking for a new tenant. Hope he chooses someone nice and quiet!! Ali x

  16. It sounds as if you are progressing nicely with the steady packing for the move. Slowly but surely and you will get it done, and there's no telling what you'll find in odd places before you've finished.

  25. I've been thinking of moving, well really just switching my bedroom and craft cave around so I can have more room to craft! lol :) Happy belated WOYWW to you, too, and thanks for stopping by my blog to leave a comment. I adore twine and even though it might take me awhile I'm pretty sure eventually I will use up all of those big spools! Also, the templates look like they would be fun to play with. See you, well, in a day or so! Deeyll #141
