WOYWW 175 (or is it 176???)

Another Wednesday comes around and it is time to go over to Julia's Stamping Ground and view other crafty workspaces around the world.  My title is confused because I copied Julia and put down 176, and then realised that we had missed out 175 !

This Wednesday sees me sitting on the sofa not feeling 100%, but not because of my planned visit to the dentist.  Annoyingly, when I got up early on Monday morning I was soon struck down by a sickness bug and spent most of the day unable to move.  The treatment has been rearranged for 19th November, so I start the process of getting more and more terrified again.

I haven't done much crafting this week - more the admin involved in being a crafty addict, ie tidying up my room, selling stash on Ebay and putting a project swap together.

My photo shows my big box of the Spectrum Noir Mega-Deal from Create & Craft.  ALL the pens, plus the DVD and the storage unit.  I have been impressed by the pens when I have seen them demonstrated on tv, and many of my friends use them, and they are so much cheaper than Copics.  I was struggling to blend colours properly because I only had 72 pens.  When I saw the Mega Deal, I knew the best thing to do was take advantage and get the full set.  I finally unpacked the box yesterday and look forward to getting them organised on my desk, watching the DVD and starting to play.

Happy WOYWW to everyone.  I plan to visit lots of people this week.

Ali x

  8. Two apologies...you're right, it IS 175, don't ask me, I cannot explain my mistake! and sorry that you haven't been well...and that it's interfered with the dental treatment, that's a bummer. Try to put it out of your mind again.
Meanwhile.....those lovely pens...you'll be spending hours organising, then sorting, then testing.....happy days!

  10. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well this week. I think it is going through the weather and seaons changing that has caused me to feel so miserable the past coupe of months. I am slowly getting better but still hurt a lot!! LOVE that box of pens. I saw them listed on Crafters Companion here in the states and I have been thinking about buying some. Let me know what you think about them. Ali you are a wimp if the little spider on my blog made you scream...;-) Have a great week. Vickie #41

What a pain that you were sick.. :( When you've geared yourself up for something big, it's annoying having to reschedule it all again.
And the pens sound fab, have fun playing with those :)

  14. Oh Ali, sorry to hear you're not well and that the dental treatment had to be postponed. Do you think you might have worried too much about it and it made you ill? Those pens will surely cheer you up though! Have fun learning them. I like a bit of peace and quiet too, a month is a wee bit much, but he may as well spend some good time with his family.

  18. I made the same mistake when I timed out my post I had #175 and when I went to link it to Julias she had #176 I said, Have I missed two weeks and not realised? Then she fixed and I had to change it AGAIN. Show us what you're working with. I am on the fence about buying markers to color in images! I am running out of spaces for all these things crafty!Tamika #14

  21. Ali

What a gorgeous pack of scrummy goodies - better than chocolate or cake or anything along those lines (lol)...

Sorry you got a sickness bug. You sound the same as me - I think we could do with a chat actually - because I actually think I can rule the world when and if I get an OKish day. Of course I just get let down again!

Take care of yourself - I hope your pen area looks tidy; I thought they were a bit expensive for the storage units - maybe i'm wrong but my husband works in plastics, moulding etc, so I know the true cost of things... maybe that's the problem!

Anyway - you enjoy and hope that your colouring improves for you now you have all the pens!!!
