WOYWW 172

It seems like years since I was last here, but probably only a few weeks!  I promise that I have been crafting, but not as much as I would like, and certainly no time/energy to get on the blog.

I will keep it short - but my health hasn't been great, I had dental treatment under general anaesthetic (local anaesthetic no longer works for me) and we have been busy inbetween touring about looking at farms for sale.

My desk shot taken yesterday shows a couple of finished Xmas cards (almost the same), lots of freebie stamps/papers from magazines on top of the printer and the usual crafty stuff that lives on my desk, so it is always to hand.

I plan to get round as many workspaces as possible in the next few days - but who knows what life will throw at me!!

Whoops - nearly forgot to link to Julia's Stamping Ground, where other crafters from all around the world share their workspaces and their lives.  This happens every Wednesday and makes our mid-week so much more exciting.

  4. Hope you get to feeling better soon Ali! I hate general anesthetic cause everytime I take it I end up losing memories or become very forgetful for days afterward. Nice looking desk. Are you planning on buying a farm? I would so love to get out of town and back to the contry again. Have a great week and thanks for visiting my blog. Vickie #73

  11. Ouch to the dentist, I hate going. A farm sounds like fun but also a lot of hard work. It's way too early for me to be thinking of Christmas, you are really on the ball.
    Have a great week.

  12. Wow, a farm! That's a lot of work isn't it? Glad you feel up to joining in again and that you're thinking of getting back into knitting again. I'm really only just learning, still making lots of mistakes, but I'm enjoying it. I'm also up cor Christmas crafting any tine of the year!!

  14. Do you instantly know if you love the feeling of a new farm or is it more hard nosed business than that? I've lived in a few homes in my married life and knew within a couple of seconds of walking through the door if the building was going to be 'home' or not....
And I don't blame you starting your Christmas stuff...it's gonna be here before we know it!!

  16. Your desk looks nicely under control. I'm just now getting around to visiting and it is almost time to start all over again. I'm just not ready to think Christmas cards at all. I'd rather think Halloween ones, but even then not too much. It is far too hot. Shouldn't we still be making beach cards?
