Less Is More Weekly Challenge 57 - Colour (Neutrals)

I have found another great challenge blog and had a sudden creative surge, so made a card for it today (will need to lie down in a darkened room now!).

Simply Less Is More is all about simplicity.

They have a weekly challenge - with the first week of the month having a colour theme.  This month it is 'Neutrals'.

I used the free cover stamp from the latest edition of Craft Stamper magazine.  Stazon inkpad onto the pale gold Kanban card from my stash, and then triple embossed with clear embossing powder.  This was matted and layered onto a 4" card made from the same cardstock.  I created a border with Zentangling.

Very different to the sort of cards I usually make - but I will use a similar design over and over (would make a nice set of notelets).

This doesn't show the pearlescent card or its colour (pale gold) very well.

  2. Welcome to "Less is More" Ali!
It looks as though you had great fun doing all those zentangles, very clever stuff, but don't forget that at LIM we still like to see areas of white space on your card... what a scary thought!
It's surprising how quickly you can become used to it!
It's a delightful card, thanks so much and do join us again.

We also would politely request that Word Verification is turned off from your blog. Thanks

Thank you lots and lots for your fab comments. I read and treasure them all. Ali x
